Becton Dickinson Cafeteria and Break Room Design

Herrera teamed with EAD Engineering to provide programming and schematic design services for the renovation and expansion of Becton Dickenson's break room and cafeteria.  The addition creates a courtyard for outdoor eating when weather allows.  The addition is defined by an undulating glass curtain wall system the allows light deep into the cafeteria space.  The high-volume addition doubles as an all-employee meeting area.  The arrangement of chairs simply converts the dining to auditorium seating for presentations.  The former accommodates 140 diners while the latter accommodates 200 people.  The floating "ring light" are design to reinforce the curtain wall and are equipped with digital moving band signage.

The project included the renovation of the executive conference and VIP suite.
