LOCATION: ALSIP, IL CLIENT: GRIFFITH FOODS SIZE: 8000 SF ADDITION Griffith Foods Ignitable Liquids StorageCurrently, Griffith Foods stores ignitable liquids (150 pallet positions) in a 4000 square foot area inside their general warehouse at the Alsip site. Their property insurer, FM Global, advises that ignitable liquids should be stored in a segregated area separate from general warehouse storage. These ignitable liquids are stored in a variety of different container types. Therefore, Griffith Foods is interested in relocating their ignitable liquid storage, for up to 300 pallet positions, in a new, separated area to the west of the current warehouse. This will also free up the current space inside the warehouse for a planned mixing area expansion.
