LOCATION: OMAHA, NE SIZE: 27,000 SF BUILDING REPLACEMENT STATUS: COMPLETE Park West Apartments - Building 5 ReplacementAfter a fire caused a total loss of the building, Herrera was engaged to redesign the building's replacement. The original building footprint and concrete slab on grade were salvaged. However, given the age of the building, new codes now applied, causing redesign to the original floor plans. The completed project now complies with current Fair Housing, Life Safety, ADA, and Building Codes. The longstanding site drainage and water management issues were summarily addressed and corrected as part of the project scope.
